DocTool: Submitting report button in the export page design

It must be possible for a user of documentation tool content to choose exactly when to submit their generated report from documentation tool. This should probably be on the export page or on the final report page.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Design for submitting documentation tool report.

I think that the new changes are fine – though, it's a bit hard to guess if this will be optimal for all/most of the users. It would be great if we could have some heavy DocTool users test it before we released it.

A more of a generic button label could also be used if it's too confusing with Review for some people, like "Finish up" or similar.

I don't think we should have "Submit a report" button in two places; it breaks the flow.
I agree, this is more of an option that comes after you have reviewed your entry - so I moved it to "Create document page".

  • Next, I changed the label of a "Create document" button to "Review" since "Create document" doesn't fit anymore. I also changed a text above it, to better explain what you can expect in the "Review" step:

"Click below to review your input and submit the report. You can choose to download your input as a textual file.
At any point, you can go back, change your entry and submit your report again. Only your last submission will be stored."

  • I added "Submit a report" confirmation inside "Review". I changed other buttons labels since the text was too long and 3 buttons + their labels + title would not fit. After the user clicks "Submit" - "Submit" button gets disabled and the message shows:

Your report has been successfully submitted!

  • When the user opens "Review" popup again, the message is gone and the "Submit" button is enabled again so he can submit changed report.

NOTE: In the case where the reporting is disabled:

  • Text above the button:

"Click below to review your input. You can choose to download your input, as well as your goals and goal assessments in a form of a textual file.
At any point, you can go back and change your entry."

  • Button label:

    "Create document"

  • No "Submit" button in "Create document" page.

I agree! I changed my comment above to match the latest changes and make changes to screen above, please review again

The solution looks good, but I'm not sure if it's really necessary to block the user from reviewing/continuing to use the tool after submitting the answer. Maybe he discovers a mistake and would like to re-submit without doing everything over again?
